In Rafa We Trust

Rafa Benitez is the one to bring the league title to Anfield. Liverpool FC have improved every year under Mr Benitez, fact. He has the same win average in the league as in Europe. So the rubbish sprayed about by the tabloids is unfounded. Benitez is not a foreigner who doesn’t understand the English league. Players are given time to adjust, both Ferguson and Wenger took years to adjust, so why the constant criticism of our manager?

Arsenal are struggling this season, and trophy-less for a number of years. They are fighting for fourth place, a position we were in just last season. We were criticised for not being in the title hunt. This season, however, we topped the table for a substantial period of time and completed doubles over Chelsea and Man Utd. To win the league this season would have been a huge ask. It is now harder to win than ever before, with the current European and English champions still in great form. People are just never happy with what Benitez has achieved, always wanting more and digging away at flaws; like too many draws. We are inconsistent and our form is questionable, they say, but we are joint second! It is true that draws have stopped us leading the Premiership, but no-one, at the beginning of the season would have suggested that we could win it. Why not lay off Benitez, enjoy the way we are playing, bask in what we have achieved this season – and look forward to next year!

Benitez does a solid job on Liverpool. I think sometimes he is under-rated.

I just don’t like his negotiations. If he had choosen better players to buy, Liverpool would be in the top.

As I said, Liverpool have improved every year under Benitez, due in no small part to the rubbish players he has bought. Players like Javier Mascherano, Pepe Reina, Alvaro Arbeloa, Danny Agger, Albert Reira, Dirk Kuyt, Ryan Babel…and…Fernando Torres! Some of his signings don’t get the credit or respect they deserve. Just as Rafa himself does not. Every player has a very important role in this excellent team. We are not top of the league because of a few dropped points, because 4th to 1st is a massive ask and because Man Utd (it pains me to say it – Believe me) are so good at the minute.

Benitez is the best man for this, most important, job.
    Have some respect!
Who would you have bought with limited funds Mr Know-It-All??

Rafa is massively under-rated. Our motto should be “In Rafa we trust”. If he fans don’t get behind him we’ll never get the solidarity needed to dominate the league and Europe for years to come. He is building a solid team and we will go from strength to strength.

Welcome to all of those in cloud cuckoo land,

I’m looking through this deluded and fictional website and i can’t help but notice that it has gone increasing silent in recent months, the “I Trust In Rafa” brigade seem to have vanished. There are actually no archives since september and i can’t help but wonder if this has anything to do with the dramatic demise of Liverpool FC or is that just a coincidence. As a Liverpool supporter since i was a child i want them to do well and i want a manager to do well, but i’m not going to become deluded like a large section of our fans have become. This faction of Liverpool supporters believe that the criteria required to be the “best fans in the world” are to back the manager no matter what hence the “In Rafa We Trust” were born. You people are so naive and warped that you believe that being critical to the manager is like talking back to your parents hence its taboo. Where are you “In Rafa We Trust” people now anyway? because this website for all intensive purposes looks abandoned. I guess you finally got your heads out of cloud cuckoo land and come to your senses. Admit it that Rafael Benitez’s time is up and he should repay the fans by resigning, instead of comforting himself with the consolation that he will receive 20 million pounds if he gets sacked. Go now Benitez!!!
